die Anforderungen wie Funktionalität,
Lichtechtheit und Wasser-Resistenz
besonders hoch sind. Ein zentrales
Thema dabei: die Modellvielfalt. Statt
ausschließlich klassischer Liegen
sind zum Interior passende Arrangements aus Daybeds, Sesseln und
Sofas angesagt.

resistance to UV degradation and rain.
One prime need is for a choice of
design: in addition to classic loungers,

aber die Planer vor eine neue Herausforderung stellt: Platzmangel. Food service and refreshment businesses need a
welcoming terrace. Generous outdoor
seating groups signal a relaxed lifestyle,
but this presents designers with a problem: the need for more space.
Eine einfache Terrasse mit 4erTischen mag praktisch sein. Aber
heute ist viel mehr möglich – zum
Beispiel mit Lounge-Gruppen, die
zum gemütlichen Lümmeln einladen.
Ein Trend, der bei der Umsetzung viel
Kreativität erfordert, wissen die Experten von Joi-Design. Denn diese
Möbel brauchen Platz, der allerdings
oft nur begrenzt vorhanden ist. Aber
mit frischen Farben und liebevoller
Deko lässt sich auch auf kleinem
Raum Freiluft-Freude zelebrieren.
A simply furnished terrace with tables
for four may be practical. But today,
one can do much better – for example
with lounge groups that invite the visitor to linger and sprawl. The experts
from Joi-Design say that implementation calls for creativity because the
more expansive furniture needs additional space, which is always expensive and usually in short supply. But
the atmosphere of open-air fun can
still be celebrated by combining bright
colours with suitable decorations.

und Co. eingerichtet. Open-air life is
brilliant – especially given the link
between nature and culture; so there
is a need for outdoor furniture at outdoor events including parks, railway
stations and similar.
Ob Festivals, Straßenfeste und Tennisturniere oder städtische Flächen
wie Parks und Strände: Auch dort, wo
die Wahl der Möbel früher keine
große Rolle spielte, sind jetzt Stühle
und Bänke in modernem Look zu finden. Diese müssen allerdings ganz
besondere Anforderungen erfüllen.
So sollten sie unzerstörbar, pflegeleicht und beständig sein und selbst
Gruppen von übermütigen Jugendlichen standhalten.
Whether the need is for a temporary
event such as a festival or a tennis
tournament, or public open spaces

unimportant, but where now visitors
