Von der Alpenstadt Bludenz in Richtung Arlberg
erstreckt sich das Klostertal. Ein Tal, das zu beiden Seiten offen und deshalb seit jeher ein wichtiger Handels- und Transportweg ist. Der rund
13 Kilometer lange Arlbergtunnel verbindet Vorarlberg mit Tirol.
Stretching from the alpine town of Bludenz in
the direction of Arlberg is the Klostertal. A valley,
open on both sides, that has been an important
trade and transport route throughout the ages.
The 13 kilometre-long Arlberg tunnel links Vorarlberg to Tyrol.

In den Gemeinden Braz und Dalaas gibt es zwei
grandiose Wasserfälle zu bestaunen. Im Ortsteil
Wald am Arlberg befindet sich die Talstation
der Bergbahn, die zum Familien und Erlebnisberg Sonnenkopf führt. Dort ist der KinderErlebnispark „Bärenland“ ein lohnendes Ziel für
Familien. Im Winter gilt der Sonnenkopf als familienfreundliches Skigebiet und die Nähe zum
Arlberg lockt viele Skibegeisterte an.
In the communities of Braz and Dalaas, there are
two magnificent waterfalls to admire. At Wald
am Arlberg is the Talstation (valley station) of the
cable car that leads up to the Sonnenkopf for family fun and mountain adventures. Children will
enjoy themselves there at “Bärenland”, definitely a place worth going to for families. In winter,
the Sonnenkopf is a family-friendly ski resort and
its vicinity to Arlberg attracts many ski fans.

is currently the largest artificial salt grotto in
Europe with 44 tonnes of Himalaya salt and an
ambient temperature of 23°C (around 73°F).
The dispersal of sea salt vapour produces a pleasant maritime micro-climate with a high concentration of salt in the air, providing well-being

Der Sonnenkopf gilt als Geheimtipp unter Freeridern. Neben vielen tollen Tiefschnee Varianten
direkt neben den Pisten gibt es noch zwei riesige
Backcountry-Gebiete für erfahrene Freerider mit
bis zu 1.250 Höhenmeter ohne Aufstieg, direkt
ab der Bergstation.
The Sonnenkopf is a secret amongst freeriders.
In addition to the many cool deep-snow variants
adjacent to the pistes, there are also two huge
back-country areas for experienced freeriders
with an elevation of up to 1,250 meters without
climbing, directly accessible from the Bergstation (mountain station).
Der Powder-Run ins Nenzigasttal mit 3 km Länge
bietet abwechslungsreiches Gelände. Außerdem
gibt es noch vielseitige Freeride-Short-Tracks.
Ergänzt wird das Freeride-Angebot zusätzlich
durch die Nähe zum Arlberg-Skigebiet (7 km).
The 3-km powder run in the Nenzigasttal has varying terrain. There are also many varied freeride
