In the Modern Way
The Amphion provides expanded dynamic range, clear
sound articulation and quick response. These three
performance features, together with the sleek, modern
appearance given by the hexagonal column and minimal
decoration, make it a desirable professional instrument.
An extra wide extended soundboard is available as a
special order. This innovation provides a continuation of
the soundboard extension into the treble section. This
increases the surface area of the soundboard to enhance
tone and sound projection.
Special treble string spacing for ease of performance.
Flourine plastic covering of pedal felt giving extended wear
of up to ten times felt life.
"C" tuning pins are coloured bronze for ease of
identification when tuning.
Castors for moving harp on the concert platform.
The Amphion 47 is crafted by the Aoyama family who have
made instruments for over 100 years.
