Design Group Alpha Model Catalogue December 2009 Page 1 Who is DESIGN GROUP ALPHA ? In 2005, a group of interested designers, beta testers and repaint artists joined forces and formed Design Group Alpha, a truly international effort with participants from the USA, Canada, Germany, France and Belgium. We, as Design Group Alpha - DGA for short - want to offer quality cardboard models, mostly aviation related, at reasonable prices and aimed at beginners or experienced builders alike. Our models are designed by people who build models themselves. Therefore, a DGA model is not unduly complicated and provides an intuitive build sequence - no need for page after page of hard-to-follow instructions ! Depending on subject, a basic model will be available - complete and correct as such with detail sets available for the discerning modeller. All of our models are designed in 1/48 scale, but this handy scale conversion table allows you to print your model to any desired scale : Check out http://www.ecardmodels.com for up-to-date model listings, availability and pricing. Evidently, Design Group Alpha is already working on new models. As all of our people have daytime jobs and a family live, model development work is performed in spare time only. Therefore, we do not want to set release dates but just make models available when we consider them ready. Sometimes, shifting interests bring development of a given model to a temporary halt to yield a previously unannounced model... That's all part of the fun !
