How To Book Your Holiday
1. Please ring 01761 417629 to check availability and reserve your seats.
2. Complete a booking form and send with your deposit of £50 per person to John Martin Coaches
Ltd, Rear of St Johns, Radstock Rd, Midsomer Norton, Radstock BA3 2AA. Payment by cash or
cheque only. A booking form is required even if you have travelled with us before.
3. A confirmation letter will be sent within 7 days of receipt of a completed booking form. This letter
will confirm your reservation, your seat number(s), special requirements and will also advise you
when the balance must be paid. A reminder will not be sent when the final balance is due.
Luggage labels and your detailed itinerary will be sent to you following receipt of your final
payment, approximately two weeks before your departure.

DAY 1 On arriving in central Paris, we are welcomed on board the MS
RENOIR. You can now relax and settle into your cabins ready to enjoy an
evening meal which is followed by entertainment performed by the crew.
DAY 2 As the ship will be docked close to the Eiffel Tower, you are free to
discover the many famous sights of Paris. Don't forget lunch is served on
board! Subject to river levels the ship may sail towards La Défense while
you enjoy dinner. This is followed by a night of music for dancing.
DAY 3 Again you have a full day to continue exploring Paris, discovering
all the sights you missed the day before. Once again lunch will be served
on board. Tonight is a GALA EVENING and so enjoy your Gala Dinner
whilst cruising through 'PARIS BY NIGHT', for an alternative view of this
beautifully illuminated city.
DAY 4 We disembark after breakfast and leave Paris beginning our
journey back to Calais for the Eurotunnel crossing.

BRUGES is a real gem that is always a popular destination. Its pictureperfect, with many historic squares, grand buildings, cobbled streets and
canals. The city has gone by many names: City of Romance, Venice of the
North and Cultural Capital of Europe but none of these really capture the
stunning beauty of this unforgettable city. It can be easily explored on foot,
by horse-drawn carriage or a cruise along the quiet canals.
FLORALIA is a Spring Flower exhibition held in the grounds of Groot-
Bijgaarden Castle, located in the pretty village of Grand Bigard. Each year
the gardeners plant more than 1 million bulbs including 500 varieties of
tulips, daffodils, hyacinths and other similar species, to give stunning
displays. Discover breathtaking floral arrangements and decorative plants,
sourced from the many flower markets across Europe.

SELKETALBAHN - Alexisbad to Gernrode. This romantic rail journey runs

end of World War II. But within months it was being rebuilt as a means to
transport Fluorospar, a mineral used in the iron smelting process. Enjoy

QUEDLINBURG is an exceptional example of a medieval European town,
both the medieval court and the old town have been added to the
prestigious UNESCO World Heritage list. Almost all of the buildings in the

Explore the picturesque town of VEVEY, known as one of the 'Pearls of
the Swiss Riviera', it has a beautiful lakeside location with breathtaking
Alpine views. From here we head to the LAVAUX VINEYARDS, for wine
tasting of 3 of the 260 varieties at Vinorama. To finish off the day we
pause at MONTREUX, a town nestled in a sheltered bay of Lake Geneva
with the Alps as its backdrop. Renowned for its annual jazz festival its a

CHAMONIX just across the border in France, is a popular alpine resort
with a vibrant atmosphere, wonderful architectural heritage with Baroque
churches and art deco buildings. Our return journey takes us along the
southern edge of Lake Geneva and through the delightful spa resort of
EVIAN known as the 'pearl of the Lake Geneva'.
LEYSIN is a sunny alpine village with spectacular views across the Rhône
Valley. The village has a history that dates back 1,500 years and now
attracts tourists throughout the year with a wide range of outdoor
activities. There is also a revolving restaurant and the Berneuse Cable Car
that has views of Mont Blanc, the Eiger and Lausanne, on a clear day.

mine in Austria. Enter the miner's world, learn about their search for

To make a booking – You must complete our booking form
and accept our terms and conditions on behalf of all your party.
A deposit of £50 per person is required. Payment should be
made by cash or cheque only. Written confirmation of
your booking will be sent within 7 days of receipt of your
booking form.

to cover administration costs. Any changes made after the
‘Balance Due’ date will be treated as a cancellation and subject

be paid at least 4 weeks before departure, for continental
holidays, full payment must be paid 8 weeks before departure.
If you book within 4 weeks of departure full payment is payable.
If the balance is not paid on time we reserve the right to cancel
your holiday and retain your deposit to cover any administrative
costs. Payment should be made by cash or cheque only.
If you cancel your booking – You or any member of your
party may cancel your holiday at any time, notice must be given
in writing and we reserve the right to apply cancellation charges
as shown, these may be reclaimable from your insurance policy;
If we change your holiday – It is possible that we may have
to alter some details of your holiday, for example, ferry timetable
changes, hotel closures. If this becomes necessary we will
inform you as soon as possible. If the change is significant you
may a) accept the changes, or b) cancel your booking in which
case you will receive a full refund.
If we cancel your holiday – All holidays operated are subject
to a minimum number of bookings. If this number is not
achieved by the ‘balance due date’ the tour may be cancelled.
All monies paid to John Martin Coaches will be refunded. In the
event of any Force Majeure, we reserve the right to cancel at
any time, in which case you would receive a full refund.

Your holiday price – Once your deposit is paid, your holiday
price is guaranteed, with the following exceptions; substantial
alterations in transportation cost i.e. fuel, ferry operators etc., or
Government action in changing or imposing new taxes. No
increase in price will be made less than 30 days prior to
departure and if the increase is less than 2% John Martin
Coaches will absorb the cost. Should a price increase be
necessary, we will advise you as soon as possible. If you find
this increase too high and you inform us straight away, you may
cancel your booking and a full refund will be made.
Travel Insurance – For all overseas holidays you MUST have
insurance and for all UK holidays we highly recommend
insurance, to cover medical and repatriation costs, personal
injury, loss of baggage and cancellation charges. For UK
holidays, if you have decided not to purchase travel insurance
you must complete the disclaimer on the booking form. You are
free to choose your own insurance provider but you may like to
consider Coaching Insurance Consultants, 11 Harvest Bank,

Financial Security – To ensure the security of your holiday
payments and in compliance with the Package Travel, Package
Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992, John Martin
Coaches operate a trust account. This means there is a fund
of money available to repay you before departure or repatriate
you whilst you are on holiday, in the unlikely event that we
become insolvent.
Passport requirements – A passport is essential for all
holidays outside the United Kingdom. It is the responsibility of
the traveller to ensure that their passport and visa requirements
are in order before they travel. We are unable to make refunds
to passengers unable to travel through failure to obtain a
passport in good time or are not in possession of the correct
documents. Most countries require passports to be valid for at
least 6 months beyond the length of your stay. If you do not hold
a British passport you must check with the Embassies or
Consulates of the countries to be visited. Republic of Ireland – It
is not a legal requirement for British subjects to carry a passport
when travelling to Ireland but you may find that a passport or
some other means of identification is useful if you intend to
exchange travellers cheques.
EHIC – You need a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)
before you travel – it allows the holder to access state-provided
healthcare in all European Economic Area (EEA) countries and
Switzerland at a reduced cost or sometimes free of charge. You
can apply on the NHS website, phone 0300 330 1350 or
complete the application form available from some Post Offices.
Luggage – As we have limited luggage space you must notify
us if you want to bring any items other than one medium sized
suitcase (max 18 kg) and hand luggage per person. Some
tours will involve an overnight stay and therefore may also
require an overnight bag. If you need to bring a walker or folding
wheelchair you MUST advise us at time of booking.
Wheelchairs – We are able to carry a small number of folding
wheelchairs in the luggage compartment but you must advise us
at the time of booking. PLEASE NOTE – IT IS NOT POSSIBLE
to bring walkers or folding wheelchairs on holidays outside the
UK and those that include overnight stops and ferry crossings.
We regret we are unable to carry battery powered wheelchairs
or mobility vehicles.
Special Needs/Requests – If you have any special requests,
such as lower floor rooms, special diet, etc., please advise us at
the time of booking. We will gladly pass on your requests to the
hotel(s) or other suppliers but cannot guarantee the hotel or the
other supplier will meet the requirements.
Excursions are included in the price of most of our holidays,
refunds cannot be given for passengers who do not wish to go
on these excursions. Admission to house, gardens etc. are not
always included in the price of your holiday unless stated in the
holiday description.
Hotels - Some amenities described in this brochure
(e.g. swimming pool, lifts) may occasionally need cleaning or
servicing and therefore we cannot guarantee they will always be
available. Hotel entertainment is often subject to demand and

Personal belongings – John Martin Coaches shall not be
liable for any loss or damage to luggage or personal belongings
unless due to John Martin Coaches negligence. Money,
passports and other valuable items should be carried with you
and not be left unattended on the vehicle or in suitcases.
Problems – If you experience any problems during the course
of the tour, please advise the driver so steps can immediately be
taken to rectify the problem. Any problems or complaints will be
investigated by us if you inform us in writing within 28 days of
your return.
John Martin Coaches reserve the right to refuse a booking or
terminate a holiday in the event of unreasonable conduct which
in John Martin Coaches opinion is likely to cause damage,
distress, danger or annoyance to any other passengers,
employees, property or other third party.
