The goal of the project is to establish functional and fully
operated Development Agency in Central BiH Region,
capable to lead the process of dynamic economic
development and transformation of Central BIH into a
modern region.

– more then 2.500 members – SMEs
– over 17.000 employees
– agricultural associations are incorporated
– Registered on 10th May 2004 as Ltd – (d.o.o.)
REZ Vision
The Vision of REZ RDA is to become the leader in a
dynamic transformation of Central Bosnia and
Herzegovina into a modern region attractive for inward
investment and a comfortable place for living
REZ Organisational structure
• Regional Development Strategy produced:
– A one year long process
– Partnership group with 117 members and Working groups with 88
members
– 10 workshops and 2 Regional conferences
– 153 projects defined (55 in first three years)
– Top 10 projects selected for year one
– 5 stretegic objectives
• Modernization of the processing industry and support to the SME
sector
• Development of agriculture and agro-business
• Development of tourism
• Strengthening and consolidation of the region

¾ Enabled thanks to MENI (Market-based Enterprise
Networking Initiative ) Project

entrepreneurs in Central B&H region.
¾ REZ IDEA BU is combination of experience gained
through the Dutch SFOR IDEA project of
entrepreneurship support with REZ RDA expertise.
