Le recomendamos tomar en cuenta la
siguiente información.
ELECTRICIDAD: El voltaje estándar
es de 110 volteos. Generalmente, los
hoteles proveen convertidores de voltaje
para dispositivos de 220 volteos. Se le
recomienda traer su propio adaptador ya
que algunos enchufes no admiten clavijas
polarizadas o de tres polos.
HUSO HORARIO: Cinco horas menos
que el Tiempo Medio de Greenwich (GMT
-5:00) en Cancún.
TAXIS: La cantidad de taxis en la zona
hotelera y el centro de Cancún es más
que suficiente para asegurar un servicio
frecuente. Las tarifas están visiblemente
publicadas en casi todos los hoteles y
bases de taxis.
AUTOBUSES: El sistema de autobuses de
tránsito en la ciudad es muy eficiente y su
servicio en la zona hotelera y el centro de
Cancún es frecuente.
MONEDA: La moneda oficial es
el peso mexicano (MXN); muchos
establecimientos aceptan dólares
estadounidenses (USD). El tipo de cambio
varía diariamente.
BANCOS: En Cancún, los bancos abren
de lunes a viernes, usualmente de 8:00
am a 4:00 pm. Algunas sucursales abren
los sábados.
CASAS DE CAMBIO: La mayoría abre

To make your vacations as pleasant as
possible we recommend you to consider
the following useful information.
ELECTRICITY: The standard is 110 volts.
Hotels usually provide voltage converters
for 220 volt devices. Sockets for polarized or
three-prong plugs are not available at all hotels,
we suggest you to bring your own adapter.
TIME ZONE: In Cancun, five hours earlier
than Greenwich Mean Time (GMT-5:00).
TAXIS: There are more than enough
taxicabs running throughout the hotel
zone and downtown Cancun to ensure a
regular service. The rates are published
and visible in almost all hotels, as well as
taxi stands.
BUSES: The city transit bus system is very
efficient with frequent service throughout
the hotel zone and downtown Cancun.
CURRENCY: The official currency is
the Mexican Peso (MXN), but American
Dollars (USD) are accepted in most places.
The exchange rate fluctuates daily.
BANKS: Banks in Cancun open Monday
to Friday, usually from 8:00 am to 4:00
pm. Some branches open on Saturdays.
MONEY EXCHANGE: The majority of
