She is shown above with one of the contestants at a Steinway 1098 vertical. 0 Brian Orton was the winner of the Nepean Symphony Orchestra Class for his performance of the Beethoven Concerto No. 2 and winner of the Piano Solo Concert Group. He is shown above being presented with the A. Margaret Jenkins award. Yasmin Malinowski was the winner of Piano Solo Sonatas and Sonatinas. She is shown above performing a Sonata in E Minor by Scarlatti. Kathy Inomata who is photographed above was the winner of the Senior Concerto for Piano and Orchestra. She performed "Concerto op. 10 No. 1 by Serge Prokofieff" and was presented with the Dorothy Hogben Ftr{iphy and the Irene Woodburn" Wright trophy. Alan Lane, "Highlights" Chairman for the Ottawa Music Festival, in foreground, looks on while Dr. Archie Stalker selected one of several Steinway grands to be used for the 1978 Ottawa Music Festival. Mr. Lauzon is standing in back of the piano. Yasmin and Henia Malinowski were the winners of the Piano Duet Competition for 16 year olds and younger. They are shown above at right receiving congratulations. _ Raymond Auyeung was the winner of the Piano Solo Concert Group for 17 year olds and younger. He is shown being presented with the Violet Patten Memorial Trophy. Hendricks of Steinway and Sons recently visited the Lauzon Music Center in the Canadian national capital, Ottawa, to assist in the opening of the newly re-decorated Lauzon Music Center.
