of New Russian and West
Literature
At the central hall of the university library was opened an exhibition-bazaar of New Russian
and West Literature. 1500 books issued by more than 250 Russian publishers are exposed
there. On a special stall are exhibited also volumes of literature in the English language
issued by famous publishers as Oxford, Cambridge, Springer Publishing, etc. The exhibition
is organized by the university library and INDEX Ltd. – direct importer and spreader of
periodicals and books from Russia, Europe and USA in Bulgaria and Eastern European
countries.

We have been working successfully with INDEX Ltd. for more than 20 years and the
exhibition is traditional, pointed out at its opening Prof. Dr. Valentin Goev, Vice Rector on
Scientific Research Activity of UNWE. He wished to have such useful meetings between the
university readers and the leading world publishers also in the future.
