PASE Overview:
 Three (3) Waste Heat Recovery Boilers recover 2000°F heat from
Oxbow kiln exhaust
 Heat energy is converted to high pressure steam for sale to
neighboring Valero refinery
 Refinery uses steam to reduce natural gas firing of existing gas boilers
 Some steam is also used to produce power as a by-product of required
low pressure steam to serve internal needs
 Electricity produced on-site is used to power both PASE and Oxbow
plants with excess to Entergy

