BLUE CHIP® Bevel Edge Chisels
• Long blade and polypropylene handle for increased leverage
• Best suited for hand or mallet work
• Solid-forged chrome vanadium steel blade for maximum edge retention
Bevel Up Versus Bevel Down
The position of your chisel’s bevel makes a big difference in the results you will achieve. When you use a chisel with the
bevel up, the result is removal of larger chips. With the bevel down, a chisel offers you more control. The blade tends to
work itself out of the wood grain, removing small shavings instead of large chips.
