Men of the Deeps returns to the Sanderson Centre marking their 50th anniversary tour dressed in coveralls
and hard hats, making their entry into the theatre in total darkness with only the lamps on their helmets for
lights. The Men of the Deeps, are a choir of working and retired coal miners from the island of Cape Breton.
All members of the group have worked in the mines and range from mid-thirties to upper- seventies and
about one - quarter have been with the group since it was started in 1966.Today the men of the Deeps, longtime colleagues of the late Rita MacNeil, are much more than a singing group. It is a social institution. There
is a camaraderie amongst the members that carries over to their audiences wherever they perform. Come

Final Payment: Due in our office 30 days prior to departure.
Departure Time: You will receive a phone call 1 week prior to departure to reconfirm pick-up time and location.
Motorcoaches: We use our own Cherrey Bus Lines Inc. motorcoaches with washrooms, reclining seats, air conditioning and stereo sound.
Travel Insurance: We highly recommend the purchase of TIC travel insurance. Insurance premiums are payable with your deposit.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received 45 or more days before departure will receive a 100% refund of monies paid. Cancellations received 15-44 days
Cancellation Policy: All payments are non-refundable. We suggest you find someone to take your place in the case you are unable to attend.

Baggage Handling: Limit of 1 large suitcase per person will be carried under the bus. One small tote bag per person can be place in the overhead racks. You are
responsible for the handling of any carry-on luggage.
Smoking: Smoking is prohibited on our coaches. Frequent stops will be made.
Currency: All prices shown are per person in Canadian funds.
Proof of Citizenship: You now require a passport to enter the United States. Non-Canadian citizens should check their consulate for accurate and timely information on required documentation. PLEASE NOTE: We are not responsible for individuals denied entry into Canada or the U.S. by border officials and are not
responsible for providing transportation back home.
Developmentally Physically Challenged Passengers: Must be accompanied by a companion of their choice who is able to administer any necessary assistance.
Some tours may present difficulties for the physically challenged. Walkers and wheelchairs can be stowed under the bus. Maxey Travel is unable to supply
wheelchairs.
Accommodation: Accommodation is included on all tours. Room assignments are always done by the hotel in an impartial fashion. Therefore, if you have special
requests, please let us know at time of booking and we will inform the hotels. It cannot always be done, but the hotels will try to accommodate to the best of their
ability. All hotel rooms will be requested as non-smoking unless otherwise request at time of booking.
Bed configuration: Single: 1 person, 1 bed; Double: 2 person, 1 bed; Twin: 2 persons, 2 beds; Triple: 3 person, 2 beds; Quad: 4 persons, 2 beds.
Days On The Bus Rewards Program
Robin Hood Tours and Maxey Travel are proud to announce the launch of our company’s new REWARDS
PROGRAM. Starting January, 2013, each day that you spend onboard the bus through a trip organized by
Robinhood Tours/Maxey Travel, you get rewarded. Each passenger will be eligible for the new REWARDS
CARD to carry with you. Your tour director on board will validate your card for each travel day you are on the
bus. This will be done on each of our one-day or multi-day trips until your card is full.....at that time you can
turn your card in at either Maxey Travel or Robin Hood Tours and received a $100 credit toward your next trip!
This is our way of saying thank you to all of our regular and faithful travelers and a welcome to our all of our
new travellers.
A Few Rules & Requirements:
• Card MUST be validated by Tour Director on each trip
• Valid only on Robin Hood Tours & Maxey Travel
• Passengers name must appear on the booking list of trip
• One card per passenger
• Card has no cash value
•Rewards do not apply to “one day casino trips”, private group trips or tours that are booked with other
suppliers, or tour that do not have tours directors on board.
Responsibility: Maxey Travel reserves the right to cancel or alter a tour at its discretion should it become necessary. All monies would be refunded, should it
be cancelled. Maxey Travel acts only as the organizer of these tour and cannot maintain direct control over the travel service suppliers. Maxey Travel does not
assume responsibility for claims, losses, damages, costs of expenses arising out of personal injury or death; delay, inconvenience, loss of equipment, distress, etc.,
resulting from wrongful negligent acts, omission of travel suppliers, sickness, theft, weather, or any cause beyond our control, your failure to obtain necessary
documentation or your failure to arrive at departure point on time; damage to or loss of property.
Maxey Travel reserves the right to reject any person as a member of the tour at any time before or during the tour if the company deems his/her conduct to be
detrimental to or incompatible with the interest, harmony, comfort or welfare of the tour. There shall be no further obligation, responsibility or liability on the
