Thank you so much for partnering with us again this year as we both
strive to bring more people to a deep relationship with Christ. As we
study the book of Matthew this year, our BSF theme is “Called to
come, Commanded to go.” We look forward to an exciting year!

(KCC Note: Women’s Bible Study Fellowship meets at our building
every Monday night during the school year. They are a vibrant
community of women and their children from our community coming

Mike Stehling’s mother, Laverne, in in SPH with
pneumonia. She also suffers with Alzheimer's and
has been placed on palliative care; Patsy Liken,

Missionary Update ~
We heard reports from several of our missionaries over the past summer. Chris and Tonya Fikes
compared their work building relationships and teaching the gospel among the Buddhist population in
Thailand to the practice in India of patiently training rubber tree roots to cross rivers and gorges,
forming living bridges.
Scott Stork related his experience teaching in a China university while using evening hours to teach
English with the Bible as text, and then having additional classes for those interested in further study of
the gospel. They form house churches, but must limit each one to less than 20 people.
Jerry Thornton told us about the current status of the Bazua Christian Academy and nearby churches
in Northern Ghana. Facilities now allow for pre-kindergarten thru Junior High, and the first class will
complete their studies and graduate this coming summer.
Garrett and Stacy East stopped by KCC as they were making final preparations for their mission in
Tabora, Tanzania, which began in September.
Our congregation is blessed and privileged to be able to participate with these and other missionaries in
God’s mission throughout the world.
