Send large letters and packets to the United Kingdom
By working in partnership with their customers Royal Mail have developed
a prompt, efficient and cost-effective service that makes the most of their
unique experience and resources. That service is Packetpost™.
As with Standard Tariff Letters, you can choose
from a First Class service for next-day delivery,
or a Second Class service for delivery within
two to three working days. For both services
the transit times apply from when your mail is
handover to Royal Mail in the United Kingdom.
Where some other carriers charge all your
items at the next-day delivery rate, whether you
need it or not, with Packetpost™ you can decide
exactly which items deserve the extra cost.
Easy to use
Only Royal Mail has the nationwide resources at
its disposal to offer your company the benefits
of such a high standard in packet delivery.
Packetpost™ offers you the same reliability
and expertise as Royal Mail’s Standard Tariff
Letters service but it simplifies aspects such as
calculating prices. It is a service designed for
ease of use.
The benefits of Packetpost™ include:
• Items do not have to be weighed individually.
• Free re-deliveries if Royal Mail cannot deliver
because the recipient is out.
• No extra charge for Saturday morning
deliveries.
• Compensation for lost items available.
Daily or Flat Rate options
With Packetpost™, the highest levels of
service are standard and unlike other courier
companies, Royal Mail delivers to every
address in the United Kingdom from Monday
to Saturday.
Royal Mail’s rates are the same, irrespective of
where in the United Kingdom you wish to have
your items delivered. Through Spring Global
Mail, as Royal Mail’s international sales agent,
you can take full advantage of these costeffective rates. Whether you want to send your
items First or Second Class, you can choose
from the following two options:
Daily Rate
• Send more than 5,000 large letters or
packets per class, per format, per year.
• Charged according to the average weight by
format of a complete consignment.
• Packetpost™ prices are always lower than
the Standard Tariff Letters rates.
Flat Rate
• Send more than 10,000 large letters or
packets, per class, per format, per year.
• Charged according to a pre-agreed flat rate
price.
• Lets you budget delivery costs in advance.

best possible prices.
