As we anticipate our next family reunion, of which I am delighted to be your 2014 host for, will be held
in New Orleans, Louisiana. I look forward to this wonderful and grand task. As one of the older members
of the family, I am honored to say the 2014 family theme will be “Continuing the love as we grow”. The
Nixon family is a strong family, and without our youth, our family lines go in silence and dies. The Nixon
Family Reunion will be held July 31 thru August 3, 2014 and the family colors will be old gold and black.
When you come to New Orleans Louisiana, which is the capital of the WHO DATS Nation, you will
meet me, Mary Nixon Johnson, daughter of John F. Nixon. There will be a lot planned for us all great
effort has been made to be sure that we all have an enjoyable time.
Knowing the Nixon Family Reunion does not operate with a family budget! The Host Person/Family is
responsible for all deposits and any cost related to the Family Reunion activities. I would like to strongly
encourage each family member to “PLEASE!!!” try and get your family dues in on time so that all family
activities may go as planned and smoothly. I want this family gathering to be one you will remember.
I would like to also encourage you as soon as possible to please complete and return your Family
Registration Form, RSVP card and Family Group Record Form (please complete to the best of your knowledge, if
additional Family Group Record Form is needed please make a copy and pass the form to another family member.) If you
will not be attending please be so kind and complete the form, just state you will not be attending, we
would still love to include you/your family in the reunion and send you a family reunion souvenir.
If you will be attending the reunion, Please! Please! send your family reunion dues in no later than the
installment due dates. Please see the family reunion registration form for the family fees and installment
payment plan.
