Steve Alan Geddie, 59, of Tulsa, passed
away on Friday, January 24, 2014.
He was born in Tulsa, OK, on February
20, 1954, to Herschel and Dorothy Geddie.
Steve graduated from Nathan Hale High
School and received a bachelor’s degree in
Psychology from the University of Tulsa. He
married Dee Dee Matson on May 12, 1979.
Steve was a devoted husband for over
34 years, a loving father, a caring son, a beloved uncle and a great soccer coach. He
was a long time member of Asbury United
Methodist Church and contributor to various charities, specifically John 3:16 and the
Salvation Army. His faith in Jesus Christ
was one of his greatest attributes, one
that he tried to share with as many people
as he could. He is remembered as much
for his caring nature as for his wit and
humor. He loved fishing and hunting with
friends, drag racing and spending time with
his family, especially his new grandson.
Steve is survived by his wife, Dee Dee
Anne and two children; Stephanie Anne
and Michael Alan, married to Stephanie
Jane, and his grandson, Caleb Alan. He is
also survived by his parents, Herschel and
Dorothy Geddie and sister, Elaine Bates and
her husband Jim and a large, loving family.
A memorial service will take place at 3 P.M.,
Wednesday, at the Venue Youth Building at
Asbury United Methodist Church in Tulsa.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make
a donation to the Clarehouse in Tulsa, John
