Dolls and Critters Floral Follies — A Cloth Doll Event DC106 (All Levels) Next February there are plans at Piecemakers to once again bring together five cloth doll divas and one ribbon Queen. Elinor Peace Bailey, Patti Culea, Sally Lampi, Betts Vidal, Barbara Willis and Gloria McKinnon will reveal their floral themed cloth dolls to you on Thursday evening. Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be filled with half-day workshops to help each attendee assemble her own floral bouquet of cloth dolls. Form the head, hands, and feet directly onto armature wires, put the doll together and finish it with a simple costume. 2 Sessions $45.00 Kathy Davis Sun, Sep 21, 28 (1:00-4:00) Lizette Queen Anne Doll DC105 (Level 3) Join Leslie in creating this cloth doll inspired from the 18th century carved wood versions. Create a three dimensional needlesculpted cloth face; using a new technique, create glass-like almond shaped eyes; and paint the face decorated with stylized eyebrows, lashes, and brightly rouged cheeks that characterize the “Queen Anne” style dolls.
