Sew Easy Swimsuits
Join us for a full Saturday workshop and learn to sew your own custom fit-to-flatter
swimsuit. Learn tips on fabric selection and handling, pattern alteration, and easy
elastic application. Bring your sewing machine and serger, your sewing kit and cuting tools and your enthusiasm! Fabric, lining, pattern, and elastic will be provided.
Advanced registration is required. Lunch is included.
Includes instructions for drafting
your own cover-up skirt pattern!
Laura Keith is a freelance designer who lives
and works in the Pacific
Northwest. She has
designed active swimwear for a major sportswear
manufacturer,
written for Sew News
and Threads magazines, and appeared
as a guest swimsuit
construction expert on
DIY television’s “Sew
Much More”.
