TECHNIQUE CLASSES

ART OF MACHINE APPLIQUẾ (All): Intimidated by
machine appliqué? Let Pam show you how easy it is!
You’ll be confident to sign-up for quilt classes
featuring easy appliqué. Mon., July 7, 6:30 – 9:00
p.m. Instructor: Pam Sengo, Fee: $18
BLOCK OF THE MONTH (*) Learn quilt making
techniques, improve your piecing and appliqué skills,
and gain confidence in color selection. Classes for
this new project continue from June-August. Tues.,
June 10, July 8 & August 12, 11 – 1:30 p.m. OR
6:00 - 8:30 p.m. Instructor: Sue Donbroski, Fee: $15
per month.
BASIC QUILTING 1A (*): Learn the basics of rotary
cutting and piecing. Basic supplies are provided, but
students must bring their own sewing machine.

CHERISHED ALBUM (***): Album blocks have
been popular for well over 100 years and are often
used for signature quilts. Make this pretty and

BEGINNING HAND APPLIQUÉ (Everyone):
Beginners and those struggling with the needle turn
technique will learn the easy starch method to handle
curves, points and bias stems. Join monthly to

MACHINE QUILTING FOR BEGINNERS (*): Learn

MACHINE QUILTING – STEP TWO (*): In your
beginner class, you learned basic techniques to
showcase your quilt tops with both your walking foot
and free motion foot. Now you’re ready for the next
step! With guidance and direction, you’ll be at ease
using your skills on an actual quilt top with this no
marking method. Pre-Requisite: Machine Quilting
for Beginners or free motion experience. Saturday,
DAY AT THE PARK (**): Pam invites you to “get
your summer on” and make this fun quilt. Monday,

FAT QUARTER FRIDAY (**): Introducing our latest
addition to our Pot Luck series, Fat Quarter Friday.
Here’s your chance to use those fat quarters you’ve
been collecting to make this easy quilt. Trading with
others is optional! Join Pam and Shirley for a funfilled night. Bring a potluck dish and sew the night

LET’S DO THE TWIST! (**): This project combines
easy snowballs and twist blocks. Start with a Bali

MYSTERY QUILT (**): Join Janie, Pam and Sue for
a fun-filled evening and make this new pattern from

STRIP CLUB – FREESTYLE (**): Another one of
LisAnn’s favorites – sew it and chop it up again! This
fun and versatile block will make any size from table

STRIP CLUB – LOL EVENT (*): The fun continues
and we’ve added a new twist! This scrappy mystery
