Protective Services Report Plus The PSR Plus report helps you quickly identify candidates to move forward in the selection process by providing a unique combination of information: 1. A quick screen for the pathology factors that derail individuals in public safety and security positions 2. An in-depth normal personality assessment 3. Predictions of a candidate’s work style based upon his/her: • Emotional Adjustment • Integrity/Control • Intellectual Efficiency • Interpersonal Relations Key Features & Benefits Specific PSR Plus features include: Based on comprehensive research with police, corrections, and military personnel, making the PSR Plus job-relevant for protective services positions. Examines how the individual’s Emotional Adjustment, Integrity/ Control, Intellectual Efficiency, and Interpersonal Relations influence job performance in areas such as safety, use of force, communication, stress tolerance, and teamwork. Fewer test items (325) than most conditional-offer personality assessments. Can be administered and scored locally, without an Internet connection. This post-offer selection tool delivers a complete picture of the candidate, combining information about his/her mental and emotional functioning along with a detailed normal personality profile. A Multi-Dimensional Look at Personality The PSR Plus is generated from the PsychEval Personality Questionnaire which is a combination of our widely-respected normal personality assessment, the 16PF® Questionnaire, and 140 clinical items. The report includes the same in-depth normal personality information as the 16PF Protective Services Report (PSR) that is used in pre-offer screening and also includes narrative insights into the individual’s thought patterns, beliefs, and behaviors. The report also provides guidance on how the elevated clinical scales may affect a candidate’s job performance and thus warrant further evaluation. This information is supplemented by a score profile of the twelve clinical scales, plus a QuickEval Index and three composite indices that signal whether further exploration may be needed in the areas of depression, distorted thoughts, and risk-taking.
