You may or may not know the difference between knitting and crochet. Level 2: You know the basics: cast on & knit. You would like to learn how to make something other than scarves. Level 3: You have a solid grasp of all basic skills, and may have a variety of techniques already in your knitting arsenal. You are ready to move on to more complicated and challenging projects. Pick Your Mitten Knit ON Pearl Winter 2013 Class Schedule BEGINNER CLASSES Crochet: Beanie with Flower Mon-Tues, Jan. 21-22, 6-8 PM $40 Janie Learn crochet basics or review them if it has been awhile. This class will cover how to properly hold the crochet hook, tensioning techniques, hook insertion, chains, slips, turns, and single crochet stitches. Gauging, counting, rows, and rounds. We will also cover how to read a crochet pattern and learn how to match hook sizes and yarns. You will leave this class with a “recipe” to make any size hat. Level 1. In this two week class you will be introduced to the wonderful world of felting while learning a few tricks or two.
