GAUGE: 22 sts = 4”; 26 rows = 4” in Diagonal Boxes
pattern. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needles to
obtain the gauge.

Rows 1 & 3 (Right Side): *P4, k2; repeat from * to end.
Rows 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10: Work sts as they appear.
Rows 5 & 7: P2, *k2, p4; repeat from * to last 4 sts, k2, p2.
Rows 9 & 11: *K2, p4; repeat from * to end.
Row 12: Work sts as they appear.
Repeat Rows 1-12 for Diagonal Boxes pattern.
SCARF
Cast on 30 sts. Work in Diagonal Boxes pattern until piece
measures 60”, ending with Row 11. Bind off.
