2 circular needles size US35/ 19mm – 60cm/23”
Foam 42cm/16 1/2” in diameter and 36cm/14” in height.
(One piece of foam will make for a sturdier seat

Recommended: Cover foam with complimentary lining.
Body
CO 13 stitches. Slip first stitch of every row and knit in stocktinette stitch 39 rows (150cm/59”)
Cast off all stitches but do not cut Wope.
Bottom
Pick up 39 stitches from the edge of the body for the bottom of the ottoman.
Place marker at the first stitch
Knit 2 rows
Next row *[K2tog, K4]* repeat, end with K1 (32st)
Next row K2 *[K2tog, K3]* repeat end with K2tog (25st) (there will be K2tog next to each other)
Next row *[K2, K2tog,]*repeat (19st)
Next row *[K2, K2tog,]*repeat (15st)
Next row *[K1, K2tog,]*repeat (12st)
Cut Wope, leave a long enough end to pull tightly through all the stitches. Wrap thread or strong yarn around the
end and one of the stitches on the inside to secure end.
Repeat the bottom pattern to create the top. Insert the foam after knitting the first 2 rows. Continue knitting to
encase the foam.
