G A S P E R E A U VA L L E Y F I B R E S ’ LOVELY LINEN STITCH COWL als: i r e t a M Yarn 2 skeins of Fleece Artist Big Blue (112m/ 125g) or any bulky weight yarn Needles 9mm 32” - 36” circular needle A quick and easy cowl that shows off the beauty of hand dyed yarn! Knit using larger needles, this cowl has a soft handle and lovely drape. Direct i on s : C ast on 141 stitches. You are going to join your work in the round by starting row 1 being careful not to twist your work. Row 1: *Knit 1, bring your yarn to the front, slip next stitch purlwise, bring your yarn to the back. Repeat from * all the way around You just continue to work row 1 until almost out of yarn. Because you have cast on an odd number of stitches, when you get back to the beginning of your round, your stitches will automatically become staggered. (On your second row you will be knitting your slip stitches from row 1, and slipping your knit stitches from row 1). Bind off loosely and enjoy.
