MELJAC presents the ARCHE lamp
MELJAC, famous for its "haute couture" switches, is expanding its range of lamps with
the new ARCHE model. Intended for hotels and palaces, it is also suitable for designer
or bespoke interiors. With a solid brass base and a lampshade of fine fabric, the
ARCHE is yet another example of the brand’s French expertise.
I looked back to the 1940s in creating this new lamp - as I did with our switches. Always seeking
elegance and quality, MELJAC now responds to our customers’ desire to harmonize their lighting
fixtures. True to our values, the ARCHE is made in France from the finest materials, and represents a
lengthy precision manufacturing process.

MELJAC once again aims for quality and aesthetic beauty in its
products with this new piece.
Available in small (H 49.5 x W 28.3 x D 17cm) or in large (H 76 x
W 50 x D 22cm), the ARCHE lamp is remarkable for its solid brass
base, treated according to the colour selected (25 finishes to
choose from).
Having gathered a selection of talented craftspeople, MELJAC
offers a selection of fabrics: raw silk, shagreen, vegetable fibres...
The handmade lampshades are selected for the quality of their
materials and the care taken in creating them.
The range consists of 5 models of lamps, and may be found in
MELJAC showrooms (Paris and Lyon) and authorized resellers in
