Viking Johnson has supplied UltraGrip flange adapters & couplings to contractor Sturno for the development of a
new potable mains water supply in the City of Pont de l’Arche, Normandie, France.
Viking Johnson supplied twenty UltraGrip flange adaptors & couplings to Sturno for the installation of a new ductile
iron potable network which replaced the old cast iron system.
The flange adaptors and coupling were supplied in varying sizes from DN80 to DN200 and were chosen for their
durability and design life expectancy of over 50 years. Ease of installation was also a major consideration, as it was
fundamental that the whole project was completed as quickly as possible, in order to reduce the impact on the city.
