Our family has lived on this farm, located just south of where the Ozarks meet the plains, for
more than 30 years. We have been good stewards to this land and are deeply committed to
sound environmental practices —for we know nature
provides all and holds many answers to healing.
We will never be a big business. For how could you put your soul and a lifetime of learned
and acquired skills into an employee manual? Big is not always better!
Our sole purpose in this endeavor is to provide skin care products that truly nourish your skin.
We employ none of the synthetics so commonly found in body products — often harmful
and encouraging skin problems. We formulate and make all the products, nothing is
farmed out, bulk commercial products are never repackaged with our label affixed. Our
products literally start from the ground up — hand made, hand cleaned, hand packaged
— all right here on the farm.
We are known for our integrity, creativity and our outstanding quality. We personally thank
you for your support and know we owe our success to you, our customers and friends. For
those of you who are new to our products, and for those of you who know them quite well,
find a quiet nook, relax a few moments, read through the catalog and get ready to
pamper your skin in a most glorious way.

Soaps
Each bar of soap from Evening Shade Farms is handmade using only the finest natural ingredients. Most ingredients are cultivated right
on our farm so that we may ensure pureness and that
only the highest quality ingredients are used in our
products. Our soaps contain no synthetic melting
agents and are aged a minimum of 30 days to provide
you the affordable luxury of a long-lasting bar.
Olive Oil Soap
Our Olive Oil Soap reigns Queen of bathing essentials.
This handmade beauty bar has been a favorite for

more than two decades. A special moisturizing formula
and blend of nourishing and delicate floral-scented essential oils leaves skin soft, silky
and thoroughly cleansed. Men who have not abandoned the brush for shaving tell us
this Olive Oil Soap gives a rich lather and softens skin for a smooth shave. Gentle
enough for babies. Normal to dry skin.
Lemon Cream Soap
Enjoy the fresh, clean essence of citrus oils in this creamy-lathering moisturizing formula. Enhanced with skin-nourishing Vitamin E, our Lemon Cream Soap leaves your
skin soft and moisturized. (Great in the summer months as it contains a bit of citronella oil to help ward off those pesky mosquitoes and black flies.)
Milk and Honey Soap
Our girls (the four-legged variety) provide fresh goat’s milk for this mineral and
enzyme-enriched soap. Additions of honey from our bees and exfoliating oatmeal make it perfect for oily, combination and acne skin. A special aromatic
blend of essential oils tightens and tones skin pores. More than 25 years ago we
formulated one of the first goat milk soaps on the market. (I have dry skin and
love using this soap frequently as a facial scrub followed by Petals, my favorite
moisturizer.)
Sampler Pack Soaps
Each Sampler Pack includes a 1.5 ounce bar of Olive Oil, Lemon Cream and Milk
and Honey Soap. The Sampler Pack makes a unique gift and is a great way to try
each of these skin-friendly soaps. Comes wrapped with a colorful ribbon.

Sweet Grass with Green Tea Soap
Sweet grass has no fragrance until it is dried. Then its aroma reminds you of a warm
vanilla scent — add the green tea and you have a rich lather that nourishes dry skin.
A unique treat!
Balsam Pine Tar Soap
You’ll benefit from the medicinal properties used in this blend. By lathering it on the
affected area and letting it dry the pine tar and balsam oils quickly relieve any itch
from poison ivy or insect bites. Also an effective treatment for severe acne, psoriasis
and eczema. Long-term use should be alternated with one of our moisturizing soaps to
maintain Balsam Pine Tar’s effectiveness and to help alleviate any drying effect. No
longer readily available, you’ll find our Balsam Pine Tar Soap as effective today as it
was long ago.
Caravan Soap and Cologne
Lather up and journey to the desert. This fragrant blend of essential oils will arouse
your senses to the sand, sunsets and finally you are there — a fertile oasis. The mysteries of the Sahara are brought to life with Caravan. Cologne available in 2 oz. brushed
aluminum spray. This goat milk-based soap is soothing to any skin type.
Country Garden Soap
This creation came to me one summer day as I was picking carnations. You’ll be
enveloped in the harmony of a summer garden with a sweet-spicy aroma and a melody
of rich nourishing lather. Normal to dry skin.
Lemon Grass Soap
Golden swirls of carrot powder enrich the intense lemon fragrance of this
refreshing soap. A good toning bar for oily or dry skin.
Savon de Clay Soap
(Sea-rich mineral facial mask)
Enjoy the deep-cleaning effects of a spa facial mask with this all-natural French Clay
Facial Soap. Tightens, refines and tones skin pores leaving skin soft and radiant.
Cleansing Savon de Clay Facial Mask Soap clears away dead skin cells and is
excellent for oily or combination skin. Use less frequently for normal or dry skin.

Rosemary Tea Tree Shampoo/Body Bar
A soap easy to travel with — no leaky bottle. Leaves hair glowing and healthy.
Also treats dandruff. Clouds of aromatic lather keeps skin soft and silky.
Sandalwood Espresso Soap
Sandalwood has a nutty, woody fragrance and has been used for centuries for its
calming effects. The skin buffing agents of espresso coffee beans is perfect for dry and
sensitive skin.
Anise Soap
A few years ago a fellow asked me if I had a Fisherman’s Soap. He told me fish were
attracted to Anise oil. I made an Anise Soap and now keep a lot of fisherman very
happy. I keep a bar at my kitchen sink because it is good as an odor remover and your
hands feel much softer after using it!
Lavender Soap Bundles
Oils are steeped in Lavender flowers (grown here at Evening Shade Farms) and made
into deliciously fragrant and beautiful soaps. Two bars tied with silver cord will
perfume your drawers with a relaxing yet spicy fragrance until you need them. They
will make you smile every time you open a drawer. Plus, they make a fantastic gift.
Gardener’s Soap
For those of you with hard-working hands this
creamy, “hint of mint” soap comes in a convenient wide-mouth jar for easy use. A must
for those who like to garden with or without wearing gloves. Applied before gardening or other messy jobs, this creamy
soap acts as an invisible glove and leaves
hands soothed and stain free. Enriched with
Vitamin E Oil and a refreshing blend of essential oils.
Pet Soap
This safe and all-natural pet soap eliminates fleas and ticks. Relieves animals’

Enriched Glycerin Soaps
Revered by Europeans for generations, our hand-milled Herbal Glycerin Soaps defy
improvement. Extra creamy lather and longer-lasting soaps are a result of the additional
steps taken in triple-milling each bar. The emollient-rich herbal and flower extracts are
locked inside each bar concentrating their therapeutic properties down to the last lather.
Chamomile Soap
This gentle soap helps reduce puffiness, clean skin pores
of impurities, and strengthen skin tissue. All skin types.
Lemon Verbena Soap
Our brilliant blue-green bar is as soothing to the skin as
it is to the eye. This spicy, lemon-scented bar is sure to please all.
Rose Elder Soap
This soft pink bar is as beautiful as the heirloom Damask roses used in the ingredients.
An infusion of elder flowers, Damask rose petals and rose essence, act as a gentle astringent, toning skin and softening the complexion. Helps reduce blemishes.
Marbled Soaps
Exotic plant sources swirl throughout a special all-natural base making these beautiful
soaps a treat to behold. Choose from four unique formulas almost too beautiful to use
— but do!
Patchouli Swirl — A pure patchouli oil from the East Indies is used in this blend.
It’s sweet, rich earthy aroma is antibacterial and a good deodorizing bar. Especially loved
by men and any one having oily or combination skin.
Peruvian Poppy — This spicy blend of botanical oils and poppy seeds combine to make an exotic soap that cleans and gently exfoliates skin. The botanical
oils chosen are known for their effectiveness in reducing muscular aches and pains
and have been used throughout the centuries for their therapeutic value.
Wild Mountain Mint — A reviving combination of three mint varieties: peppermint, spearmint and wild mountain mint (gathered by hand) are used in this

Liberty Rose Moisturizer
This emollient-rich moisture cream is prepared with healing extracts of herbs and
flowers, and enriched with Vitamin E Oil to ensure a penetrating moisturizer especially
for nighttime use. Also a great reward for hardworking hands and feet. Liberty Rose is a
