Williams Precision Engines is a custom engine machine shop. We specialize in building custom
engines to meet your specific needs. Since 1990 WPE has spent countless hours researching,
testing, and developing racing engines for all classes of track use, specifically Sprints Cars,
Late Models, Modifieds, & Sportsman Bracket Drag Racing.
The WPE Engine shop is equipped with good
high quality equipment that we are constantly
updating to keep ahead of the competition.
We offer a complete high quality machine
shop service to our racers that include custom
cylinder head porting and flow testing,
cylinder head reconditioning and repair,
block machining and repairs, crankshaft
inspection and repairs, engine balancing,
connecting rod reconditioning, and a state of
the art computerized dyno facilities.
WPE is dedicated to building the best racing engines that money
can buy, but we also realize that the sportsman racers of today
can only afford so much. This is where we have been able to

 Circle Track Vacuum Secondary (Gas & Alky)
Slick track conditions where mechanical secondary are just
to aggressive. Vacuum Secondary can be easily adjusted to
fit the drivers needs.

This carb has a single inlet fuel line to fit class rules but and
performs as well as a HP series carbs. Will produce 20 plus

WPE Custom Rotating Assemblies..
WPE custom builds just about any size make or
model of rotating assembly to meet your engine
building needs!! Give us a call and tell us what
you are looking for and see for yourself how we
can help you engineer the rotating assembly that
is right for you!
Our rotating assemblies come complete with ACL
H series performance rod and main bearings,
Plasma Molly Performance Ring Packs sized up to
fit ring grooves properly. Assemblies include
WPE inspections of rods for proper size, specs &
weights. Pistons are checked for proper size,
factory defects and weights. Crankshafts are
polished and inspected for proper specs and size.
After all that we Internally Balance the crank to
less than a gram on both ends..

steel and fitted with
ARP 2000 bolts. They
are both very reliable.

rods in engines that

are made of a 300M
premium steel and
heat treated with
some of the highest
standards.
I considered the Dyer
Rod to be the very
best connecting rod available on the market.
Capable of handling 850 plus HP all day long!
We use the Dyer rods exclusively in all of our
Sprint Car and Late Model Engines.
Velocity is a new generation oil additive that reduces friction by treating the metal
rather than changing the properties of the lubricant. Velocity Wear Protector is a new
concept oil additive that uses the polar aspect of the active ions in its formulation to
form an extremely strong high TBN high elasticity film that is almost impossible to
break or penetrate between the surfaces. It reduces friction which reduces heat and
has wetting agents to increase the lubricant's ability to carry away heat. Velocity
contains none of the historic and typical chemicals and petrol solvents found in most
of today’s additives. Velocity is truly the most advanced anti wear and extreme
pressure additive available today. Velocity: *Boosts Power *Increases Horsepower

Our monster 427 cube 500HP-500 ft torque Old School Look with 500 HP
small block Chevy combination has stump
pulling torque with all the horsepower a
street machine would ever want. This little
engine runs like it’s a Big Block and only
weighs a fraction of the weight.
Works excellent in any high end street rod
running on 93 pump gas. High manifold
vacuum and drivability has been designed
into our SB427..

Edelbrocks Pro Flo XT EFI fuel injection,

Sprint Car Engines since 1990 with great

to none with close attention to detail being top
priority. It is not uncommon for one of our
sprint car engines to race 30 to 40 nights
between rebuilds. We also have new engine
combinations utilizing track proven slick track
technology. Our newest engine combinations have plenty of power to
perform on heavy tracks while working extremely well in the slick..
New technology allows us to take advantage of a flat torque curve
making our engines drive extremely smooth. This allows the chassis set

400 SHP Series II Sportsman Engine 625 HP
New Dart SHP Block, custom roller cam, and WPE Ported

415 Pro Series UMP Modified Engine 675 smooth HP !
This is our best all around performing Modified engine for the money. Fast enough to set fast time at
Eldora during the Nationals in 05 and win 5 track championships at Lawrenceburg in 5 straight years.
Yet affordable enough to be one of our best selling engines. CNC ported 23 degree aluminum heads,
Dart Little M Block and top quality components makes this a very reliable and fast combo. It has not
been uncommon to see this engine compete for 5 seasons straight with no more than a basic freshen up
between seasons. Our extensive R&D, track testing and experience over the years has helped us to
develop this combination into one of the best all around engine combinations available at any price.
415 High Port Pro Series UMP Modified Engine that can make up to 725 super smooth HP!
700 plus HP that still works on the slick!
High Port 15 degree heads on top of a bullet proof Dart Steel block.. This engine will make big torque
with a super smooth flat torque curve. The flat torque curve we have developed allows this engine to be
very drivable in the slick and when there is moisture in the track you better hang on. Your going to be
the fastest on the track. This engine is for the racer that has his chassis working real good and wanting
to compete with the best in the business.

Engine Rebuilding Labors
Our Shop is not solely based on building just brand new engines. We will also service and rebuild
your existing engine. WPE will even be glad to rebuild and update your current racing engine even if
we didn’t originally build it. In some cases we even have customers that might have accumulated
some perfectly good parts and want
us to build a engine using them. We
are always eager to discuss what we
can do for our customers. WPE also
restores classic and antique engines
back to their brand new specs. Your
old Hot Rod will never run better!

 Ignition tune up and distributor rebuilding as needed,
