Directions for Use:
Application to clean mop heads: Part strands of a clean dust mop. Apply one
ounce of Dust Mop Treatment per six inches of mop length by spraying or sprinkling
(a more accurate method is to apply one ounce to each four ounces of cotton yarn).
Hang up mop heads and allow product to penetrate and diffuse throughout the
strands for 24 hours before using. Do not apply excess product; treated mop strands should not be wet
with product. If mop dries out during use, re-treat, using one-half amount indicated above. Use of
treated dust mops: Sweep floors daily with treated mops and note the difference! To remove dry soil
which has been picked up, shake mop vigorously over waste receptacle. Cleaning dirty mop heads:
When mop is dirty, rinse in water, then soak in an effective floor cleaner or general purpose cleaner. Rinse
thoroughly and dry. Retreat as indicated above for clean mop heads. Dust Mop Treatment is emulsifiable,
providing easy cleaning of dirty mops. Strands can be restored to their original fluffy condition.
