Water, Inc. utilizes the finest premium grade coconut shell carbon
that has superior adsorption capabilities. Granular activated carbon

other organics. Our GAC is so highly effective that a three gram
sample is equal to the surface area of an entire football field.
● KDF-55 Medium is used in our HousePure Whole
House and ScaleStop products.
KDF-55, which stands for “Kinetic Degradation Fluxion” is a proprietary media that helps neutralize chlorine, chloramines, reduces heavy
metals and inhibits bacteria growth. KDF-55 is integrated with the
GAC as an effective combination of filtration media.
● HousePure with Watts® Scale Stop media offers
an alternative to traditional water softeners for
product owners who reside in areas where water
softeners are not allowed, or who desire to limit
salt for water reuse reasons.
This revolutionary scale protection media has proven effective in
commercial and residential use for many years. The proprietary
medium employs a certified science called Template Assisted Crystallization (TAC). It forces scale minerals to attract onto a small bead
and form a crystal, which is then harmlessly flushed down the drain.
The result is reduction of costly and annoying scale damage to pipes,

Resin beads attract and hold calcium and magnesium (hard water
dissolved minerals) and prevent them from forming scale on your
household pipes and appliances. Household clean up chores are reduced dramatically and the need for soaps in laundry and dishwasher
are reduced substantially. Periodic recharging of the resin bed is
accomplished by introducing a brine solution that drives the hard minerals off the resin and are flushed harmlessly down the drain.

Siliphos has been used successfully for decades in the commercial industry to help alleviate the negative affects of hard water.
