Scale build-up
up inside the heat exchanger of modern compact boilers not
only dramatically reduces the efficiency of the heat transfer process, it also
affects the lifespan of the boiler negatively. Softening of the filling water,
through ion exchange, is a proven, reliable and efficient method to prevent
harmful scale build-up.
With the PortaSoft Series, ERIE WTC offers a portable water softener,
specifically developed for the plumber/installer. The ultra-compact
ultra
softener
module is equipped with a convenient carrying handle that at the same
time serves as protection for the control valve; together with the heavy-duty
heavy
rubber base and bumper band the PortaSoft offers unrivalled ruggedness
and durability even in the toughest environments. The separate salt tank
can be stored in the workshop, and only needs to be hooked up to the
softener module sporadically when the softening resin is exhausted and
needs to be regenerated.
Unlike cartridges, that need to be replaced or returned regularly, the
PortaSoft can easily be regenerated by the installer/plumber, making it the
most cost-efficient and easy-to-use
use solution for hard water problems!
