Resource and
Referral Guide
Our Mission
The Autism Society of the Fox Valley, Inc. was established in 1989. We are
a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization serving the counties of Calumet,
Outagamie, Waupaca, Winnebago, and Fond du Lac. Our mission is to
provide information and referral, advocacy, public awareness, education, and
support for individuals, families, professionals and others who support those
with autism.
Our board is comprised of volunteers; we are parents of children on the
autism spectrum or we are autism educators. We are very thankful to Alcoa
for their generous grant to put together our first resource guide. This guide
is the fourth revised update. We have tried to be comprehensive in our
undertaking and hope that the community finds this guide to be helpful in
dealing with those on the autism spectrum. The names listed in the guide
have been printed with permission. There are undoubtedly services and
providers that we’ve missed. If you are a provider or know of any services
that should be included in this directory, please fill out the Information Form
on the last page of the guide. Additionally, if information has changed, also
please contact us.
Inclusion of names in this directory does not indicate endorsement
of any provider by the Autism Society of the Fox Valley (ASFV).
Families have different levels of satisfaction with each provider.
Members of ASFV may have had contact with some of the service
providers in the guide and those individuals have an asterisk (*) by
their names. However, the choice of provider is an individual
decision for each family. ASFV does not endorse the treatment and
therapies included within the guide nor can it take any responsibility
for any results.
Very Special Thanks to:
Alcoa Charitable Foundation which initially funded this project.
A special thanks to the Autism Society of Fox Valley board
members who helped with the Resource Guide, especially Dr.
Archna Hendricks, who is head of the Resource Guide Committee.
