YOU CAN DO I
HOW TO DYE YOUR HAIR USING KOOL A
1. If you have dark hair Kool Aid will not show so if you are really determined to add some real color then
bleaching kit and follow the directions in the box.
2. Choose a color! The brighter the better!
3. Mix two packets of unsweetened mix with a double quarter sized amount of conditioner. It must be UNS
4. Wet your hair
5. Put on a pair of gloves and apply the Kool Aid to your hair. If this is not enough to thickly coat the hair,
more and continue
1. Gather supplies
needed: Iron, ironing
board, shirt, paper
towel, and iron on
letters.
6. Wrap your head in plastic wrap and leave it. Leave it as long as you can stand it, all day if you can. The lo
leave it, the better the color will adhere to the hair
7. Over time, the color will fade out. If you want it out quicker, toothpaste will speed up this process, but if
bleached the hair or you have really light hair normally, it will not remove the color totally
HOW TO MAKE YOUR A OWN
JUICE BAG PURSE
1. Cut out the bottom of the pouch without separating the front of the pouch
2. Peel all the letters
carefully for desired
phrase.
3. Place letters where
you want them to
appear on your shirt.
from the back
2. Wash the inside with soap and water and let air dry
3. For the front of your purse, overlap 2 of the pouches putting them si
by side. Do a zig zag stitch down the middle with the front of the pouch
up. Add as many juice boxes to make the purse the size you want
4. Do the same as in step 3 for the back of the purse
5. For the bottom of your koolaid purse, overlap the number of pouches
needed from top to bottom and zigzag stitch
6. For the sides, use a single row of pouches sewn in a vertical pattern
7. Attach the front and back panel to each side, leaving about 1/4” to 1/2” unsewn at b
tom of handbag
8. Sew both side panels to the front and back of your purse
9. Attach the bottom of the handbag to the bottom of your front, back, and side
panels, folding down where you left the bottom unsewn. I think it is easier to attach your bag together at the sides first, then sew along the longer seams at the
front and back of your bag
10. For handles, you can use ribbon or you can use additional juice pouches to
make your own handles. Simply sew to pouches top to bottom, cut the desired
width of your handles, and fold back on each long side (about 1/4”) and zig
zag stitch both sides
11. Fold down the top of your bag about 1/2” (to hide juice drink tops and to
make the top even) and, if you like, add some trim
12. Enjoy your new purse! Great for the summer! Conversation starter!
