How to receive ASP Headline news direct to your email...
STEP 1
Go to ASP Headlines under Our Community on the website. There you will see clickable icons to sign up for RSS feed
(Really Simple Syndication) or ALERTS.
Click on Alerts and follow the instructions illustrated below.
STEP 2
A dialogue box will appear and ask you to sign up as a new user
with your First and Last Name, your email address and it will request you to set and verify your password.
YOU MUST CREATE YOUR ID—IT IS NOT LINKED TO OTHER ASP
PASSWORD SERVICES.
In the future if you want to return to change your settings and have
forgotten your password, there is a prompt which will email your
username and password to you instantly.
STEP 3
Check the boxes for news areas that interest you (eg. Headlines &
Athletics) and click Update Settings at the base of the box.
Please note that news items will often be assigned to multiple areas
and you may receive multiple alerts.
YOU CAN GO BACK AND UN-CHECK BOXES TO CANCEL THE ALERT
STEP 4
Once you have clicked to UPDATE SETTINGS you will see a final dialogue box
which will give you a summary of your profile.
You can close the box with the red cross icon (top right).
From that moment, every time a news item is posted to the news areas you
have selected you will receive the news item direct to your inbox and always
be first with the news from ASP.
