Instructions on how to use online portal Use the following web address https://go.edgehill.ac.uk/cpdenroldirect This should take you to the following webpage Select the course code as follows : SAH000003 for module HEA3088S2A SAH000002 for modules beginning with HEA790 SAH000001 for all other modules. This then takes you to the screen below – which enables you to choose the module you are applying for. To choose the module that you are applying for please refer to the letter sent to you via email by the Enterprise & Partnerships Team. This will give you the correct module details. Please do not select any other module – as this will delay your application. Type the module number in the search box and click “Go” – do not include any spaces in the module coding. This will bring your module up. You can click on the Study days section to view when the module will be running. Choose the module by clicking on the small tick box Click on “Submit and Proceed” to take you to the next screen. You then need to complete your personal details – following the instructions given on each page. Please note that All fields that are marked with a * must be completed. The system will indicate to you if it cannot proceed. When all fields are complete, please click next. Clicking on “Next” will take you to the Contact Details screen. Please ensure that you complete this section in full. You should also supply us with an Email address that is frequently accessed by you as we will use this to correspond with you. When all fields are complete, please click next. You should then complete next of kin details. Home addresses can be copied by using the icon on the right hand side of the address field. and click “Next” The information on the screen is required by government agencies to return certain information regarding our students. All information is held according to the Data Protection Act 1998. Click on “Next” to be taken to the final screen You do not need to upload your picture. When this has been completed please click “Submit Application” You should then see a screen which confirms you have completed the process. What Happens Next? The Enterprise & Partnerships Team at Edge Hill Faculty of Health and Social Care will then be notified by email that you have made a submission. You will also receive an email to confirm we have it. Your submission will be processed and you will receive an email confirming that we have approved your application in principle, along with details as to how you should pay your fees. You should then ensure that you provide us with a copy of the appropriate ID documents, as per the enclosed ID POLICY. Copies should be sent to : Enterprise & Partnerships Team Faculty of Health & Social Care Edge Hill University St Helens Road Ormskirk L39 4QP Or by Email to : [email protected] or by fax to 01695584444 We will enrol you onto the module from the dates stated in your invitation letter if we have received your ID and have a viable module. Once we have enrolled you, a further email containing a “Confirmation of Enrolment” letter (signed by Ian Jones – Senior Registrar) will be sent within 7 days of the module commencing. This letter will give you your Edge Hill Network Username and Passwords, which will enable you to access the module. If you have any queries, please contact us on 01695 657249. Identification Policy Depending on a students nationality they must present one of the following forms of identification when they enrol: Nationality UK Identification UK Birth Certificate* Passport * and Marriage Certificate if applicable EEA1 or Switzerland National ID Card Passport Non-EEA Passport and evidence of visa status Copies will be accepted in the first instance, However, where a student has a nonEEA nationality, they must bring their original passport (including visa) and, where appropriate the Identity Card for Foreign Nationals (ICFN) or Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) for verification. The University is required by law to check, verify and retain copies of this documentation in student files as part of its immigration sponsorship duties. Staff will check this documentation to ensure that students have the right to study in the UK and, specifically, with Edge Hill University. At enrolment this policy will be strictly adhered to and you will not be able to enrol if you do not provide the appropriate identification. Even if a student has provided these documents during their application process they must still provide one of them at enrolment. Please note students can only enrol in their legal name as stated on their identification.
