The dentist needs to have a sound understanding of bonding, shade determination and has to be adept at handling, shaping and polishing the material. Furthermore, when you need to restore approximal surfaces, achieving an adequate contact area can be difficult. This lecture and hand-on program will address these issues and equip the dentist with skills to achieve durable and aesthetic results. He maintains a general practice in Melbourne with emphasis on restorative dentistry. He has been an attendee at the Las Vegas Institute and studied occlusion at the Kois centre in Seattle. He has been personally instructed by Newton Fahl of the Fahl School of Art and Science in Aesthetic Dentistry in Brasil. He has lectured internationally on the topic of composite resin restorations. Presently he lectures at Melbourne University to undergraduates on the topic of Aesthetic Dentistry and since 2004 has conducted hands-on programs on free handed delivery of composite restorations for several Dental companies. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS All cancellations must be made in writing to the ADAVB. Cancellations received up to one week prior to the event date will be refunded, less a $50 per person handling fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the event, except under special circumstances. However, a substitute delegate may be nominated and the ADAVB must be informed of the substitute’s details. CATERING While ADAVB tries to accommodate specific dietary needs, it cannot guarantee that the requests can be met.
