HOW TO GET STARTED AS AN AMRRON OPERATOR
HOW TO GET STARTED AS AN AMRRON OPERATOR AmRRON (the American Redoubt Radio Operators Network) is a standardized communications plan to link hams and non-ham radio operators with likeminded preppers, patriots, and Redoubters if standard communications fail. There are two types of AmRRON Radio Operators: HAM OPERATORS: Use their equipment and skills to relay relevant information, alerts, coordination of efforts, and promotion of the American Redoubt movement to likeminded preppers, patriots and Redoubters. RELAYS: Non-Ham Relays will monitor for radio traffic at pre-designated times, and then Relay that information across their local area, or to a Ham Operator, who can then pass the information on to others in the network. Most Relays have at LEAST one type of CH3 Project communications, such as a CB (Citizens Band radio) or FRS (Family Radio Service).
