Legal & Ethical Issues in Vocational Consulting and LCP
Over the last few years, Roger Weed and Tim Field have been tracking legal cases involving vocational issues and life care
planning issues. Previous presentations have been mostly descriptive in terms of what happened in court and have discussed
the implications of the courts’ decisions. This presentation will focus on a few cases in each area (four or six total). Each case
will address a mistake or error made by some party involved in the case and relate that situation to the appropriate ethical
standard. The audience will be engaged in an interactive process to suggest alternative solutions or methods in which the
cases or conflicts could have been handled. A lively discussion is promised.
