HOW TO CHECK PROGRAM KIT AVAILABILITY / RESERVE PROGRAM KITS
Each Service Center has one each of the following Program Kits:
 Bubble Fun (D/B/J/C/S/A) - experiment with the science of bubbles
 Green & Growing (D/B/J/C/S/A) - Girls discover botany. Sow seeds, sprout plants, conduct
experiments and identify plant parts
 Mind, Body & Soul (D/B/J/C/S/A) - healthy living program that incorporates 4 sessions: Mind,
Body, & Soul; Creativity & Me; Confidence Capers; and Herbal Cosmetics
 Winter Ecology (B/J/C/S/A) - a variety of indoor & outdoor winter activities
 Zap Solid Waste & Recycling (J/C/S/A) - deals with solid waste and preventing pollution by
recycling
Step 1: Go to http://virtualems.gsnypenn.org/virtualems/BrowseEvents.aspx
Step 2: Click on “Filter” (top right, under the “This Month” tab).
Step 3: Inside the FILTERS pop-up window, choose your search options:

DATE: Choose your date that you want to look up

FACILTIES: Pull down “Program Kits”

ROOM TYPE: you can filter to a particular Service Center location or leave it blank to
see all

ROOM: you can filter to just a particular Program Kit or leave it blank to see all

Click APPLY

It will now show you what which kits ARE ALREADY RESERVED. If you see it as blank, it is
still available to use.

Please note that you can view as the “Weekly Calendar” (which shows automatically), or
you can click on the “Daily List”, “Weekly List”, “Monthly List” or “Monthly Calendar” to
see which one works best for you.
Step 4: Once you have found what you would like to reserve, complete and submit your Program Kit
Reservation Form to [email protected]
Step 5: You will receive an email of confirmation
Step 6: You will pick up your program kit from the selected Service Center on the date that you are
confirmed for. The Program Manager in that location will be in charge of these kits
