You need to be aware of the location of the shelters near you at all times ●Major shelters : Schools, public buildings, Metro stations, Underground parking lots, etc. • Flood and fire : Evacuate school and public buildings • War : Subway stations, underground shopping malls, underground parking lots ●National Disaster & Safety Exercise • Safe Korea Exercise - This exercise is prepared to increase the disaster response capabilities in cases of natural disasters including typhoon, earthquake, tsunami and human-induced disasters. - It is organized by the National Emergency Management Agency(NEMA) and Central Safety Management Committee. - It takes place once a year for two days (dates are determined by NEMA). - It is mainly an evacuation exercise. • Civil Defense Exercise - The goal of this exercise is to protect and lives of general public from the enemy's armed invasion or natural disasters. - It takes place on the fifteenth day of every month.
