ChiroWrite is a licensed clinical notes software
product that is available to chiropractors and
their associates. This state-of-the-art software
offers an easy way to record patient visits and
examinations so that SOAP notes and narratives can be effortlessly produced. Most medical questionnaires and forms that chiropractors use are included and custom forms can be
added. ChiroWrite has the ability to produce
a comprehensive list of reports based on the
information input into the system.
ChiroWrite functionality provides an interface
with the Patient Management Program which saves time and eliminates duplicate data entry. The
program will run on a standard desktop computer, laptop, touch-screen, or tablet PCs.

How-to Videos on the Website
Recently the PMP department offered a Basic training session over the internet. The session
was recorded and has been separated into sections. You can now view the different videos
at any time. And remember, you do not need to log on to get to the PMP website. View the

We’ve made it easier for
PMP users to access PMP
on the OCA website
Once you arrive at the OCA website – www.chiropractic.on.ca you will
see a PMP Website button on the right midway down. This button will
allow you to access all things PMP! And the best part is, you don’t
have to login to get to the PMP website – its on the Public site,
not the Members!
Installation Instructions, Training Sessions, Downloadable Updates,
Newsletters, FAQ’s, etc. In many cases your PMP support questions
can be answered with a quick trip to the OCA website.

The PMP update version 4060 included the OCF 3 and 24 forms. Although the forms are not submitted to HCAI, having the ability to
create the forms in PMP saves you work and allows for continuity because the forms remain in the patient file. It seems only fair that once
you have input all of the other forms into PMP you should be able to
complete the process without resorting back to old technologies.

HCAI Update
The PMP HCAI interface is in testing at this time. Additional information will be forthcoming as it becomes available.
PMP Statistical Report &
the Cruise of a Lifetime
During the month of April the OCA statistical report appeared on your
PMP screen. On a yearly basis PMP offers members the option to
participate in an anonymous statistical report that proves invaluable
for assisting the OCA in championing for chiropractic on your behalf.
The stat report no longer appears, however, it can still be completed
and submitted. Please contact support for assistance in retrieving the
2010 stat report.
The OCA’s Statistical Report provides demographic data that is used
to monitor trends within the profession. The results are used to support our government and public relations efforts, help establish
marketing strategies and plan for the profession’s future.
Participation is voluntary; however, we cannot overstress the value of
your contribution. Your anonymity is assured. All results will be pooled
Offices that have not yet registered with HCAI will receive notification
of their start date from HCAI.
The Financial Services Commission of Ontario has approved
changes to the OCF forms for September 1, 2010. This means that
HCAI and PMP will have to undergo additional programming and testing of the new forms. l
