This CT scan is transformed into a 3D model of the patient’s shoulder. This model allows surgeons to pre-operatively visualize the unique anatomy of each patient. Step 2: Set Through the use of proprietary software, the surgeon will set the position, and angles of the prosthesis to optimize the fit, tailoring it to the unique needs of the patient. Step 3: Matched From this plan, a model of the patient anatomy and a surgical guide are developed and manufactured. This guide is used by the surgeon during the procedure. The guide is secured to the patient through a unique anchoring feature that helps ensure a secure fit to the bony anatomy.
