Total Grade Points___ + 0.17x each honors, IB, or AP credit ________________________________________________________ Total Credits Attempted number of years Use the following definitions to figure the above calculations: Points per Grade Unit A=4 B=3 C=2 D=1 F=0 WF = 0 (Withdrawn Failing) WP not counted in calculation (Withdrawn Passing) Quality Points Added to Your GPA • New GPA Calculation • Currently students are given a .17 quality point for any high school honors, AP, and IB class that he or she takes • Current 9th (class of 2017), will see all high school honors, AP, and IB classes count as a .17 quality point on their transcript until the summer of 2016. • In the summer of 2016, all honors, AP and IB classes will be converted to the new 1.0 (for AP and IBDP) and .5 (honors and IBMYP) system. The quality points will be retroactively applied to all high school honors, AP, and IB classes in the summer of 2016. Perception) • Be aware of those around you when you are talking about different matters and what can make some individuals feel uncomfortable • Remember not everyone has the same opinion as you and that is OKAY • Accept others for who they are we are all different Also Consider … • Athletes remember the new sports policy • Healthy Living: Eat Well; Exercise; Go to sleep at a decent time; stay healthy so you can stay in school • SET GOALS FOR YOURSELF: know what you are working towards in your future
