VACATION INDUSTRIAL WORK EXPERIENCE PROGRAM Our Industrial Work Experience (IWE) Program provides undergraduates the opportunity to gain practical experience with Australia’s largest electricity generator. Macquarie Generation has over 600 employees and provides approximately 40% of the State’s electricity. Whilst on the Program, students are paid and provided with safety clothing, excluding steel cap safety boots. We have exciting opportunities for students who are: In the second to last year of study in a relevant undergraduate degree Permitted to work in Australia Enthusiastic and able to demonstrate high levels of potential Willing to work at our Bayswater and/or Liddell Power Stations, located between Muswellbrook and Singleton, or our Corporate Office in Newcastle Available to undertake the Program for 10 weeks from Tuesday 26th November 2013 through to Friday 31st January 2013 Students will be assigned to a station based team where they will work on a number of projects as applicable.
