PowerPrepTM Sample Cleanup System Automated Sample Clean-up Power-Prep™ is changing the face of high speed sample processing in today’s laboratories. The automated liquid chromatography system performs simultaneous sample processing automatically and unattended. You need only to load your samples, snap on your pre-packed columns and press the start key. The system performs the entire sample cleanup and fractionation for six samples automatically including sample loading, washing, elution and fraction collection. Sample Type: The Power-Prep concentrates and separates analytes from a variety of sample extracts such as: EPA SW-846 methods for pesticides, PCBs and PAHs sample analysis. The Power-Prep™ system fits into the smallest budget. With its modular design, you can cost effectively automate your extraction and sample clean-up procedures by purchasing a 1-sample system and expand it to 5 or 10 samples as needed. Rapid Sample Processing The Power-Prep™ system automates the sample cleanup process to be completed in hours versus days. For example it separates Dioxins, PCBs, and Pesticides for 5 samples in less than one hour. Cost Effective & Reliable Analysis With a few keystrokes, the Power-Prep system performs an entire column chromatography, automatically achieving consistent and high recoveries for all analytes. The unattended operation feature of the system saves labor and valuable time. The Power-Prep system reduces the amount of glassware and solvents required for manual sample clean-up. FMS’s proprietary columns are made from Teflon and contain multi layer silica, alumina, and carbon. FMS’s pre-packed columns are tested for purity and performance prior to shipment. Electronic Documentation The DMS-6000 real time software allows control of 6 channels of flow rates, volumes, sample size, column selection, solvent selection and fraction collection. This allows automatic documentation of the entire process. When combined with extraction the temperature and pressure can be superimposed and printed in graphic or tabular format and stored for future reference. Multiple Method Storage The DMS-6000 Editor allows multiple methods to be stored in the system. In each method parameters such as time, solvent volume and final temperature can be set for each step. Pressure and temperature as well as dispensed volumes are displayed every second and stored for future reference. Economical System Platform Power-Prep fits the smallest budgets. Due to its modular design, The Power-Prep can be purchased in one or three sample configuration and expanded to five or ten when needed.
