ANANDA MARGA
NORTH AMERICAN SECTORIAL NEWSLETTER
Dear Grother,
You know that the ruler of India has imposed a state of emergency. Taking advantage of the situation, its forces have arrested all opposition lead-,
ers including our workers.
since
26-6-75
They have locked and guarded our central office
after arresting most of the central Iorkers including Pranavanandil.
They are arresting more and
vii 11
arrest mo re.
As you can see, we have reac!led a crucial phase in history. At this gravest hour we must stand united and fight against the oppressive forces with all
our might.
At this opportune moment, we must emerge vlith our fighting qualities,
to ma ke peop 1 e accept us defi nite 1 y a s tile 1 eaders of tomorrow. Pres entiy, the
country is leaderless. We should uti lize the opportunity vlhich the Lord has created for us. We must act quickly and precisely, before the cudgel falls on our
heads. We must impress on all the vlOrkers that the fighting qualities of spiritual soldiers must be expressed \·:ith full impact at this crucial hour. "ijow or
never" should be the slogan; "To die for our ideology is to live", should be
the spi rit.
It must be proven to the people that the rule of wretched jealousy
can not survive the war with spi ritual wardors. With zelous expression of
ethical and fighting morale, the future Sadvipras should emerge to usher a new
era in the history of mankind. Let us declare by our action, boldly; that the
darkest hour of night i the harbinger of dawn.
ijovl, you do the needful.
In His service,
A Margii in Nepal
(This letter, addressed to Ac. Yatiishvarananda Avt"
was received recently
at Sectorial Offices in Denver, Dadaji gave us permission to reprint it for
its informative and inspiring qualities, It was not dated, and the signature
was hard to read, but, really, it expresses beautifully the feeling here in
Denver, and, hopefully, that of Baba's devotees and servants of.
, Dharma every-'
where on this planet.)

MAN who performs Sadhana twice
a day rgularly, the thought of Parama
Purusa will cenainly ari", in his mind at the time
of death, his liberation iii a sure guarantee. There
fore every Ananda Margii will have to perform
Sadhana twice a day invariably. Verily is this the
Command of the Lord. Without Yama and Ni-.
yama Sadhana is an impossibility. Hence the
Lord's Command is also to follow Yama and Ni-
yama. Disobedience to this Command is nothing
hut to throw oneself into the tonures of'Dimal
life for crores of years. That no one should un
dergo torments such as thelie, that he might be
enabled to enjoy the eternal bleSlCdness under
the loving shelter of the Lord, it is the bounden
duty of every Ananda Margii to endeavour to
bring all to the Path of Bli•. Verily ilthis a pan
