1 on 1 help with information regarding
PCSing. Topics include transportation,

Learn how to transition smoothly with
children in school grades K-12.

Paves the way for a smooth transition from

Fort Bragg In-processing
Information
Permanent Party Soldiers arriving at
Fort Bragg should report to the
Fort Bragg Reception Company,
Bldg 4-1437 Normandy Drive.

Soldiers assigned to Student Detachment
at Womack will sign into Womack Army
Medical Center, located off the All American
Expressway.
Soldiers assigned to USAJFKSWCS will
report to the SWCS PAC on the 6th floor of
the Soldier Support Center.
Upon confirmation of assignment, Soldiers
E-6 and below must sign into the Fort Bragg
Reception Company Barracks, located on the
west side of the Soldier Support Center.
Unaccompanied Soldiers will be assigned
a barracks room and platoon to complete
their in-processing. Soldiers E-6 and above
after signing into the Fort Bragg Reception
Company will be asked to return the
following duty day (except Wednesday) at
1000 hours to receive an in-processing
welcome packet. Senior enlisted are
allotted 5 duty days to complete the
in-processing checklist and sign-out of the
Fort Bragg Replacement Company.

Readiness
Program
Fort Bragg
Relocation Readiness
Program (RRP)
Provides assistance to military personnel
(active duty, retired, National Guard,
Reserve), DoD civilians, and Family members
moving to or from Fort Bragg. RRP provides
information on military installations
regardless of branch. RRP provides a wide
variety of information pertaining to moving
with the military. Make Relocation Readiness
one of the first stops when you arrive.
Our knowledgeable staff is there to answer
your questions and refer you to the
appropriate agencies.
Additional Services
and Programs Include:
Information and Referral
Knowledgeable and friendly staff refers
customers to the appropriate program or
organization. For information on the go,
stop in and pick up a copy of the Answers
Unlimited, a must have booklet outlining
post services.
Multicultural Readiness Program
Provides information and referral assistance
for immigration related issues. The program
serves as a liaison for clients in need of
Immigration and Naturalization Services,
Legal Assistance, obtaining a driver’s license,
English as a Second Language, Social Security
Administration, and other community
services and programs. Call us for
information on our monthly classes and
support groups.
Hearts Apart Program
Assists and supports Families that are not
able to PCS with the Soldier due to an
unaccompanied tour or deployment. The
Hearts Apart Program fosters a sense of
community and links Families of deployed
Soldiers with support agencies, programs,
and units/FRGs. This program allows
waiting Families to stay informed and
in the loop by staying abreast of Army
Community Programs and organizations
that are designed to provide support.
Airborne Attic
The Airborne Attic operates completely
from donations of clean, good, usable
items. Donations are tax deductible.
Soldiers E-4 and below can obtain
household items free of charge.

Lending Closet
The Lending Closet has basic household
items available for Soldiers and Families
arriving or leaving Fort Bragg while their
household goods are in transit. Please
bring a copy of assignment orders and an
ID Card. Items available include: pots,
pans, dishes, irons, ironing boards, infant
car seats, high chairs, appliances, and
more.
