The heavy-duty lid stay is factory-adjusted to
its minimum holding power. The practical and
ideal functioning for each individual case must
be achieved by the ﬁnal adjustment of the set
screw. Please contact Titus+Lama+Huwil or your

Direction of adjustment
The adjustment is achieved by turning
the hexagonal adjustment screw nut. The
kg
adjustment depends on the door weight. Turn
right to increase the sustaining capacity or turn
left to decrease the sustaining capacity.
Height
adjustment
The height adjustment is achieved by rotating
the appropriate screw on the hinge arm. The
drawing shows an example of Lama ST hinge.
Side
adjustment
The side adjustment is achieved by rotating
the cam adjuster on the mounting plate. The

adjustment
The depth adjustment is done by rotating the
appropriate screw (see the drawing) on the
hinge or mounting plate. The drawing shows an
example of Lama ST hinge.

Titus International
PLC the Group holding
company, was established
in 1973 and has a leading
position in the supply of
furniture connector systems
for ready to assemble
furniture. Expansion has
been through extension of
production and distribution
locations in Europe,
North America and Asia.
Continuous innovations
in connector design
include the advanced Titus
Quickfit technology, and
the revolutionary Titusonic
process for ultrasonic glueless assembly of kitchen
cabinets. Maintained

Lama d.d. Dekani was
established in 1953 for the
production of lock systems
specialising in furniture
component production
for the needs of furniture
manufacturers in former
Yugoslavia. Lama’s location
in Koper, Slovenia, one
of Europe’s most rapidly
growing ports is at the
international cross roads
of Europe with access to
East and West Europe
and to sea and air routes
to Asia and the America’s.
Slovenia’s entry into the
European Union and
membership of the Euro
makes the location one
of the most competitive
in Europe. Having joined
the Titus Group in early
2006, Lama is the Group
production and design
centre for hinges and
connectors. Innovations,
led by the innovative
‘Glissando’ low cost soft
closing systems meet the
latest design trends.
HUWIL-Werke originates
from 1889. For most of
the 20th century Huwil
specialised in furniture
locks and was the earliest
provider of mechanical
fastening systems in
furniture. Expansion in
the 1980s and 1990s into
decorative handles and
sliding door mechanisms
has been followed by the
introduction of Huwil’s
market leading door
lifting mechanisms. With
production locations in
Germany and Hungary,
Huwil is meeting traditional
locking and decorative
hardware needs in furniture
and expanding to meet
rising demands for new
door styles. Innovation
in door sliding and lifting
includes the ‘second
generation solutions’ for
door lifters introduced to
the market in 2007. In 2006
Huwil became part of Titus
International Plc.
