And it’s even harder, sometimes, to wait for God to come through on a promise made in Scripture, to answer a prayer request we’ve been making for months or years, or to complete his work of transforming us into people worthy of being called Christian disciples. Sometimes we forget that trust and patience are essential to the outcome, and that the process, itself, is somehow part of the outcome.
