INSTALLATION OF 10,000 NOS 1KWP OFF-GRID SPV SYSTEMS CORRIGENDUM TO
THE TENDER
1. The Batteries Specs are modified as below :
In addition to only Tubular VRLA Gel Battery, VRLA AGM, Lead Acid, Tubular positive plate
flooded electrolyte or Gel or VRLA Type Battery with 2V cells of capacity 24V 300AH or 48V
150AH at C/10 rate of discharge, With 5 years warrantee for batteries should be strictly complied.
 The supplier advised quote separately
a) Tubular gel VRLA /AGM batteries .
b) Flooded LMLA Tubular batteries.
2. The warranty of modules is to be complied as “PV modules used in Solar PV Power Plant must be
warranted for their output peak watt capacity, which should not be less than 90% at the end
of 10years and 80% at the end of 25 years”.
3. Since MPPT is included in the Technical Specifications, Power at 16.4 Volts in TECHNICAL BID
(PART – 6 ) need not be considered
4. “PROTECTION SYSTEM” on page 28 is specified for grid tied inverter which may be ignored as
it is NOT a Grid Export system. General protections for off grid invertors as per MNRE norms may
be considered.
5. On page 29, “All fasteners shall be of Stainless steel - SS 304(Hardware make need not be
considered
6. The security deposit of Rs 2.00 Lakhs is also revised to Rs 1.00 Lakhs up to 100 Systems and if
the tenderer does above 100 systems additional security deposit of Rs 1.00 lakh has to be
deposited .
